Responsibilities:
Day to day operations and project financial success of Project Management Team Review, plan, and execute project scope of work under direction of Project Management Leadership Assist with generation of project budget sheet and review with estimating team Assist with monitoring and tracking changes to base contract scope of work.
Perform take-off, generate estimate & change orders, and provide to management team for review.
Monitor project schedule and coordinate job tasks to field technicians in order to meet project milestones and deadlines.
Communicate daily with client project team to provide a seamless flow of information in order to meet project objectives Review, produce, and track request for information (RFI) and product submittal documentation.
Assist with performing weekly labor and material budget projection to ensure project meets or exceeds financial estimate.
Assist with monthly progress billings in order to deliver to accounting department for review and submission to client.
Occasional travel to projects will be required in order to maintain a management presence.
Required Skillset:
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong ability to estimate using Accubid or McCormick estimating software Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu construction software Previous field experience and various industry certifications a plus Cloud-based file sharing proficient Possess excellent leadership, management, and communication skills Knowledge and execution of company safety policy is mandatory Highly motivated and a self-starter Valid Drivers License with clean driving record Minimum
Qualifications:
Minimum 5
years of combined project management experience leading projects valued at $2 million and larger in the electrical construction industry.
Experience with Southern California Edison and other various utility projects a plus Bachelor's Degree in either Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or Business Management preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Clean and insurable driving record with a valid California driver's license.
Experience with AutoCAD a plus Excel (Intermediate to Advanced Skill level).
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening during new hire process.
Rate of pay is based on experience.
Successful candidate must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening during onboarding process.
